這首當初為非洲飢餓孩童募款的名曲，今年正式邁入第25週年，當初由Michael Jackson和Lionel Richie所譜寫，Quincy Jones製作，而Michael Jackson現在已經不在了，由Lionel Richie、Quincy Jones帶領眾星重新翻唱這首歌，灌錄單曲「We Are the World: 25 for Haiti」為海地災民們募款，與會的眾歌手陣容也不輸當年。而麥可的部分，將由他妹妹Janet取代他的歌聲，這首歌的成品預計在加拿大溫哥華2月12號冬季奧運的開幕典禮曝光！而mv也將以3D的方式呈現。
