Wong Ka Kui黃家駒唱的The temple of the king就是與眾大不同，他唱的非常有帝王氣勢。
哥在舞台上，跟舞台下感覺是不同的，舞台下他像是鄰居親切的大哥，他會跟你講道理，他外號叫黃伯伯，是有道理的，只要是跟音樂有關，他可以跟你講三天三夜也講不完。

奉PPM喻，叫小弟講下Temple Of The King的『典故』。
不弟不才，但又不敢違命，唯有硬著頭皮，試寫如下：
Temple OF The King,可直譯為『國王的神殿』。若要從歌詞中尋找甚麼隱喻，可能要從寫詞人心態談起。
此曲由Rainbow的結他手Ritchie Blackmore及主音歌手Ronnie Jame Dio合作。
大家的焦點都放在Richie Blackmore，因他是Deep Purple及Rainbow兩大勁Band的靈魂人物，是70年代搖滾樂的殿堂結他人物，當年名氣比現時人稱為結他之神的Eric Clapton更大。
而Ronnie Jame Dio隨後離隊加入Black Sabbath也是一隊經典組合。
Dio現在亦有一隊Dio的樂隊，仍有出碟出Show。
Temple Of The King雖然沒有註明誰作曲，誰寫詞，但從中古時代為背景的歌詞風格，我個人估計應該是Dio主要負責歌詞部份，Blackmore主要負責音樂部份，特別是當中的一段結他Solo，很多樂迷認為是Blackmore其中一段經典solo之一。
為何我認為是Dio主要負責歌詞部份呢?因為Dio自小己沉迷那些Fantasy Tale，即類似魔戒（Lord Of The Ring），天馬行空的天神與邪魔對立，國王、皇后、公主被困城堡等故事。
直到現在他寫的一首Kill The Dragon歌中的Dragon，便是以各種社會不公平喻為龍，龍在西洋文化中被視為奸角，Kill The Dragon便是要除去不公平的意思。
1975年面世的Temple Of The King，內容完全符合Dio的幻想世界。雖然西洋文化中，最著名的Temple Of The King是約公元前一千年由以色列王所羅門王所起的大型神殿，也是被視為以色列民族的第一所神殿，神殿中，依照其不拜偶像的宗教信仰，都沒有神的偶像擺設，根記載，神殿中只有Mercy Seat(即約櫃的金蓋，被視為上帝休息的地方)。
這所神殿在公元前500年被毀，成為傅奇中的Temple Of The King。
不過綜觀Temple Of The King歌詞，歌詞提的並不是所羅王的神殿，可能只是借來的靈感，正如很多魔幻電影以所羅門王，或其他中古時代為題一樣。
又或者只是Dio在眾多幻想小說中得出來的靈感。
歌詞開首便以One Day In The Year of The Fox….
西方一些國家，也會像中國一樣，以一些動物來命年，以『狐年』來開始一個故事，確是可以帶出一些神秘感，帶引聽眾很快地進入一個中古世紀的幻想世界。
故事由一個充滿朝氣的年青人聽到鐘聲，
知道要去神殿見證一個很重要的事情開始。
其後的歌詞都是敍事方式講述一個國王神殿前，
一位知先在群眾前尋找一個大家都期待已久的答案。
但是先知自己亦在Seeing，Feeling．．．
最後他還是走進神殿中思索，回想一些以前聽過的故事．．．
最後他得到啟示，從神殿中走出來，以強壯的右手，指向一個人，於是大家便知道，新的國王是誰。
『Back with the people in the circle he stands,Giving, feeling.
With just one touch of a strong right hand, they know
Of the temple and the king.』
歌詞雖然沒有講那個新的國王是誰，
但不用猜，也知應該是歌詞最初出現的那個『充滿朝氣的年青人』了。
簡單地說，這是一個先知選王的故事，當中有沒有其他隱喻，那便留待聽者自己思考了。
正如電影『魔戒』，或『哈利波特』，都是一些虛構的幻想故事，但如果想從中穿鑿附會，找一些隱喻出來，總可以找到，
正如很多王家衛迷總要在王家衛電影中解讀連王家衛自己都沒想過的所謂『電影語言』及『深層意義』一樣。
有人講過，要從70年代搖滾歌曲中解讀歌詞的奧秘，簡直是浪費時間。
沒錯，當時很多歌詞其實只是一些零碎意像的結合，就像一件抽象藝術品，作者只是造出一件『東西』，讓人根據命題去思考，大家想到甚麼，它便是甚麼，沒有誰對誰錯，這是作者留給人的『幻想空間』，甚麼都直說，便沒有令人推敲細味的癮頭了。
翻查過網上中外無數網站，竟然找不有任何人去解讀Temple Of The King這首Rainbow名作。
可能大家都被音樂吸引，正如大家看完魔戒，只會討論一下其特技及一些情節，很少有人去討論那魔戒是象徵甚麼，哈利波特故事又有甚麼隱喻，因為大家都知道，像這樣的幻想故事，討論如何深入，都不會有結論。
不過，網上resarch時，發現原來有不少人喜歡Temple Of The King這首歌，Dio的Fans還以Tempe Of The King作為Dio的Fans Website的名稱。
題外話，原來Dio就是最先以豎起母指、食指、尾指作為Long Live Rock & Roll手勢的人。
隨後30年至今，大家依然在Rock Concert中以這手勢表示搖滾不死。
