From La Biennale Venezia 2009 to Art Revolution Taipei 2011

Being able to draw some time visiting the bi-annual exhibition in Venice had left me lots of great memories about the art works exhibited there. It’s like opening another door to my life. For the last 2 years visiting art fairs has become my favorite part of travel. This year, I don’t have to go aboard, because there will be a great exhibition holding in Taipei during the 12th to 15th, May 2011. The greatest thing is that there will be art works of Rembrandt, Chagall, Picasso, Miro, Dali and etc., I just can’t believe it that I can see the one and only Rembrandt’s woodcut print in red color with my own bare eyes!

To see and feel the masterpieces created by these respectable masters of art from hundreds of years ago is a fascinating experience। We don’t know how they lived their lives and what they think and feel in their age, but through seeing their artwork it’s like going through a tunnel of time and participates in what they see about their era. Just like contemporary art, telling the stories of our era, and now the Art Revolution Taipei is going to merge them together and giving us a chance to see 1200 art pieces at once, from classics to modern, eastern to western! I think this will be the greatest art fair ever held in Taiwan! If anyone should happen to be in Taiwan during that time, don’t forget to see this art fair, because it’s got to be awesome!
